I found this post on the case study padlet both humorous and troubling. I find I do my best teaching when I am passionate about what I am teaching and enjoying it and giving the students space to bring their own ideas. Kay Livingston agrees in ‘Pedagogy and Curriculum – Teachers as Learners’, in which she unpicks ‘what is meant by ‘teacher quality’?’, identifying the importance of teachers to ‘convey ideas in clear and convincing ways; to create effective learning environments for different types of pupils; to be enthusiastic and creative’ (Wyse, Hayward and Pandya, 2016).
